Both Spring Ambition and Shannondale Sue were on top form at Cholmondeley, jumping confident double clears and with Spring Ambition also coming home inside the optimum time.
The mare took the runner up spot in her section, while Shannondale Sue added 2.4 time penalties for third place in hers.
It wasn’t all plain sailing, Bazaars Inca picked up an unlucky 20 penalties on the cross country after show jumping clear.
