Pencos Crown Jewel stepped up to 5* level in style last weekend. She posted a 27.1 dressage score and jumped a lovely clear round over Captain Mark Phillips testing cross country course, adding just a few time penalties to her first phase score.
With eight penalties to add on the final day (clear rounds were very few and far between) Ros and ‘Jasmine’ finished in fourth place.
Annie Makin and Kate James bought Pencos Crown Jewel from Pennie Wallace as a foal. She came to Ros as a 3-year-old when she had just set up on her own, so this result is even more special.
