Izilot DHI delivered the best Blenheim 4*L finishing score for the last 14 years, and also a personal best. He added just 0.4 of a cross country time penalty to a 21.6 dressage score.
The 10-year-old ‘Isaac’ is owned by Ros and Alex Moody, and this win is his eighth international victory; only one other10-year-old in the world right now has more international career wins to his name (Sweetwaters Ziethen, ridden by Sophie Leube has nine).
Ros said: “I am so proud of how he jumped. “He can be cheeky and spooky, but he coped very well this weekend and that is exciting for the future. I feel there is loads more to come with this horse and feel very lucky to have him. He is now ready to go on to a five-star.”
