No Excuse almost exactly matched his CIC3* performance at Chatsworth. Leading after the dressage on a score of 24.4 (notwithstanding a minor tack fail!), he had a rail down in the very influential show jumping phase before making light work of the cross country – in a significantly faster time than in Derbyshire.
The pair completed the competition in 9th place – as they did last time out.
