Ros rode Sharon Bayston’s Fullham to victory in the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse Four-Year-Old Championships. The gelding, by Emilion, scored the maximum 10 points from Judge David Lee in the final Suitability & Potential phase to win by 2.5 points.
Sharon bought the gelding last Christmas and he lives at her Pocklington yard. Ros rides several of her horses. “We’ve very much saved him for today,” Sharon explained. “He won at Bramham but apart from doing some show jumping he hasn’t done much, he’s been busy growing so we haven’t pushed him.”
