It was a very successful weekend for Ros at Catton Park. Pencos Crown Jewel and Shannondale Sue both won their novice sections (Pencos Crown Jewel by an amazing 12 penalties), with Bazaars Inca coming 10th at her first attempt at this level.
Also running at novice level No Excuse did an impressive 20.5 dressage and double clear, Cool Jack a 24 dressage and double clear. They both finished 3rd after slightly slower cross country rounds.
Cekatinka led the OI with a 24 dressage and clear show jumping, but with Hopetoun part of her plan Ros did not run her across country. Last but not least, Shadowstone did another double clear at intermediate and what felt like his best test yet, although the judge didn’t agree – he finished 8th.
