Ros survived a rather soggy Gatcombe, with Pencos Crown Jewel jumping an immaculate double clear despite the wet conditions to finish runner up in the CIC2*. Spring Ambition was also on form, finishing 16th in the same class – Ros produced these two mares from backing them as three-year-olds.
No Excuse and Mermus R Diamonds both had steady runs in the open intermediate.
