No Excuse very nearly took a novice win, despite Ros riding steadily across county and picking up over 20 time penalties. She was equally steady in the intermediate with Shadowstone who slipped in to 10th place.
In the CIC1* Pencos Crown Jewel picked up a creditable 7th place, while stable mate Spring Ambition wasn’t far behind in 11th.
