Both Parklodge Side By Side and DHI Rock Dancer were in the novice ribbons at Norton Disney, both jumping double clears to finish fourth and fifth respectively. Meanwhile Cooley Copresenter had a steady spin around the cross country in the open novice – he steps up to intermediate next time out.
New ride Accelerando made his affiliated debut, performing a good dressage test and showjumping clear before a green mistake across country from which he will have learnt. A good start to his career.
All three Weston Park rides performed well. A double clear gave Izilot DHI seventh place in the advanced, while Creevagh Mohill successfully tackled his first intermediate, also double clear for 10th place. A rail down and steady cross country round cost Shannondale Nadia a top 10 place – she had to settle for 11th.
