Ros’s season started with a bang at Oasby, with 11 rides from BE90 to open intermediate. She posted four top 10 finishes, despite steady rounds across the board: Mermus R Diamonds took a novice 4th, Zenshera (pictured) an OI 5th, Shannondale Sue an ON 7th and Spring Ambition an ON 10th.
Allstar B, No Excuse and Las Vegas 200, jumped good double clears in the OI although Ros had her foot off the accelerator, keeping them out of the ribbons.
Both Lordships Graffalo and Shannondale Nadia were having the first affiliated runs of their careers, running hors concors in the BE90 (because as a 4* rider Ros is over-qualified for this level). Lordships Graffalo jumped a double clear, with Shannondale Nadia rolling one show jump pole.
