Cool Jack stepped up to the plate to tackle his first CIC1* at Somerford. With a sub-40 dressage score, a pole down and a clear cross country round, the 7-year-old finished in 9th place – out of over 120 starters.
In his first CIC2* Shadowstone jumped a double clear, following a 43.8 dressage score, to finish a very creditable 23rd.
