Ros could not have come closer to winning another World Championship medal. Lordships Graffalo was foot perfect throughout to finish on the same score as bronze medallists Tim Price and Falco – unfortunately Ros was a little faster across country and therefore further from the optimum time.
Fourteenth after dressage on 26.2, a clear inside the time moved the pair up to eighth. They then jumped one of very few showjumping clears to finish fourth.
‘Walter’ really has come of age this year.
