Training

training1Ros is available to teach group and private lesson at Hallington for dressage, show jumping and cross country.

She is contactable by email, text, phone or Facebook – details on the Contact page. Weekdays and evenings are best during the Event season but Ros can do weekends in the winter and will also teach whenever she can from March to October.

She has run 2 successful XC clinics catering for all levels this winter and will be adding more dates soon to the website and facebook.

Camps:

These are currently a work in progress but Ros hopes to do a couple this year to test the water. An example of a timetable will be posted here soon, but in brief these camps will include riding, talks, BBQ etc plus there is a tennis court and outdoor pool for other halves if they would like to come too.

training2Testimonials:

“Ros is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and inspiring trainer. She constantly has new and fresh training ideas, focusing very much on the technical side of jumping, i.e. difficult lines, altering strides, skinnies and corners, rather than just jumping big jumps! (she does that as well!!) I can’t believe how much my daughter has improved, both in her ability and her confidence, since training with Ros.

“I came to Hallington as a livery customer almost two years ago and began being coached by Ros six months later. Ros has patiently given me the focus and self belief to tackle eventing when the thought of competing was very intimidating. Regular lessons on the flat, show jumping and cross country have improved my position, my ability to tackle terrain and fences, and my understanding of how to ride much more effectively. I have gone from being an ambitious but weak rider with no competition experience to an improving and much more confident rider with my sights set on qualifying – and winning – the Badminton Grassroots BE90 Championships!”
