Ros had a hugely successful time in the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse classes at Chatsworth.
Sharon Bayston’s Hilton van de Klinkenburg won the Four Year Old qualifier. Bought unseen by Sharon from Holland, Ros says he has lovely movement and whilst initially nervous and quite shy he has a very calm brain and really wants to please.
Ros also finished 3rd on Alex Fishpool’s Landlord, with Sharon Bayston’s Shannondale Nadia slipping in to 7th. “They were all quite green going in to the competition, but were amazing considering the atmosphere in the main arena,” said Ros.
Quite Something, owned by Claire White, took the runner up spot in the Five Year Old qualifier. Ros is helping to produce the gelding for Claire’s daughter Isobel, who is successfully competing in Juniors at the moment.
