Ros & Alby had an even better result at this year’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton than they did last year. Leading after day one of the dressage and still in third place when all horses had completed the first phase, the pair put in a fantastic cross country performance, clear and with 6.4 time penalties – one of the faster rounds of the day.
This meant that Ros held on to her third place going in to the final day. The showjumping caused plenty of problems, and Alby was unlucky to just have a rail down. However, it was still good enough to keep Ros in third at the end of the day – a two place improvement on last year.
Ros was the only rider to be at the end of day press conference (for the top three riders) throughout the competition.
